Q: I have found 3 Lottery tickets in my work pants after they went through the washer and dryer! Are they still valid if you can read the numbers?
A: This is the very reason I have Lady Luck do all of my laundry. I praise her on her thorough pre-wash pocket inspection. If you think these tickets are winners you should send them to Lottery Headquarters in Roseville, MN where the auditors will inspect them then will follow-up and send you your winnings.
Q: What makes a great Minnesota winner? Is it age, beauty, or just how much you play?
A: I truly believe that luck and optimism have everything to do with winning. I personally don’t think that winning has anything to do with how much a person plays. I have met with lots of winners in Lucky, MN and many of them only purchase a ticket here and there. It’s definitely their winning attitude, and of course a little bit of luck that brings them the big bucks!
Q: Is there a difference between an account for 2nd chance drawings and an account for Lucky, MN?
A: I'm so glad you asked for help here. Yes there is a difference! The Hook, Lund and Sinker 2nd chance drawing is another entity of the MN Lottery website. If you look in the location bar it reads MinnesotaSecondchancebonuszone. That is managed by the company who creates our scratch tickets. We don't manage that website in-house here at the MN Lottery. If you send them a question on their feedback page they are very helpful. The Bonus Zone websites come and go when a 2nd chance promotion is over.
Lucky, MN (which is where you are now) is the Minnesota State Lottery Player's Club. You login with your Lucky resident password. Everyone is very welcome to join. We have free contests to enter and some 2nd chance promotions as well. It will be a different login but some wise people use the same email and password for both! Q: Would you consider releasing a list of exactly where the proceeds go? I live on the shores of Lake Superior, and would love to see money directed Up North to our area of this beautiful state
A: You are a very lucky person to live by the most beautiful lake in the country. I try to visit at least once a year. Go to the MNLottery website on the left column there is a link to Environmental Trust Fund Projects, then check out the 2008 Trust Fund projects. These pages are very interesting reading. I never knew how much work, research and care goes into the environment here in Minnesota!
