MINNESOTA STATE LOTTERY
Gopher Football – LUCKYMN PROMOTION

I.    Eligibility for the Gopher Football Drawings

A.  To enter, a person must: a) be a registered member of the Minnesota State Lottery’s Players Club at www.luckymn.com; b) have completed the full address portion of the sign-up area in order to be contacted if you win a prize; c) the address listing the player’s registration in Lucky MN must be within Minnesota or one of the four states bordering Minnesota (North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa or Wisconsin); d) answer a question in the Win Gopher Men’s Football Tickets Contest between 12:00:00 a.m. on September 20, 2011 and 11:59:59 p.m. on November 9, 2011 (answer selected does not have any bearing on the contest outcome); and e) be at least 18 years of age.

B.  Entries may be submitted through luckymn.com beginning at 12:00:00 a.m. on September 20, 2011, until 11:59:59 p.m. on November 9, 2011.  All entries received by 11:59:59 p.m. on October 12, 2010 are eligible for the October 13, 2010 Gopher Football Drawing.  All entries received by 11:59:59 p.m. on October 19, 2011 are eligible for the October 20, 2011 Gopher Football Drawing.   All entries received by 11:59:59 p.m. on November 9, 2019 are eligible for the November 10, 2011 Gopher Football Drawing.  A person may only enter once.

C.  Employees (including immediate family members residing in the same household) of the Minnesota State Lottery, Gopher Sports Properties,  Clockwork Active Media Systems, LLC and any other company that is not eligible to receive a prize from the Lottery under Minnesota law or pursuant to a contract with the Lottery are ineligible to participate and receive a prize from this drawing. Winners will be selected and eligibility determined by the Minnesota State Lottery. The decision is final, binding and conclusive in all matters.

D.  The Lottery is not responsible for delayed, lost or misdirected emails or electronic submission of an entry.

E.  A person or any immediate family member (spouse, child, parent, brother or sister) residing in the same household may only be selected once in the three (3) Gopher Football Drawings.  A person, or an immediate family member that has previously been selected in a Gopher Football Drawing is ineligible to receive a prize in any of the subsequent Gopher Football Drawings.

II.    Selection of Entries for the Gopher Football Drawings

A. The Lottery will conduct a total of three (3) Gopher Football Drawings on or about the following dates:

                1. October 13, 2011 for the October 29, 2011 football game

                2. October 20, 2011 for the November 12, 2011 football game

                3. November 10, 2011  for the November 26, 2011 football game

B.  One (1) winner will be selected at each Drawing.

C. The Lottery will, by use of mechanical or other devices, randomly determine which of the entries submitted are selected.

D. The odds of any particular entry being selected in the Gopher Football Drawing are dependent on the number of entries submitted for the Drawing and the eligibility of each of the entries received.

III.    The Gopher Football Drawing Prize

A.    Two (2) tickets to a designated Gopher football game.

B.    Each winner will be invited to participate in an on field promotion to win up to $500 in Gopher 5 Minnesota State Lottery tickets.

C.  No cash equivalents will be awarded.  Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable.  Federal, state or local taxes on any prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.  The co-sponsors will not be responsible or liable for any warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied, on any prizes.  Co-sponsors reserve the right to correct errors in the contest or promotional materials, to award or re-award any prizes and to substitute equivalent prizes.

D.  Winners will be required to consent to full use of their name, address and photo for publicity and public relations purposes and must agree to videotape production for broadcast with no further compensation.  Winners may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, appropriate releases and authorizations for such purposes.  Refusal to do so may, at co-sponsors’ option, result in forfeiture of any prize won.

E.  By entering, entrant agrees to follow the official rules and hold harmless the Minnesota State Lottery, Gopher Sports Properties, the University of Minnesota and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrants participation or (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion.

F.  By accepting any prize, winner agrees to release the Minnesota State Lottery, Gopher Sports Properties, the University of Minnesota and each of their directors, employees, officers and agents including, without limitation, its advertising and promotional agencies from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.  In consideration for being awarded the prize, winners hereby agree and consent, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of winners’ name and /or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by the Gopher Sports Properties and/or the University of Minnesota.  Contest void where prohibited.

IV.    Claiming the Gopher Football Drawing Prize

A.  The winners selected by the Lottery in the Gopher Men’s Football Drawing will be notified by email after their entry has been drawn and declared eligible.  The winner selected in the October 13^th drawing must respond to the email by October 21^st; the winner selected in the October 20^th drawing must respond to the email by October 28^th; and the winner selected in the November 10^th drawing must respond to the email by November 18^th.  If a winner does not respond to the Lottery by the deadline stated above, that winner forfeits any rights they may have to the prize from that drawing and the Lottery may award the prize to an alternate.

B.  After the person whose valid entry was selected in the Gopher Men’s Football Drawing has responded to the Lottery’s email notifying the player that their entry was selected that winner will be notified as to where to pick up their tickets for the Gopher Men’s Football game.

C. This promotion may be terminated at any time by the Lottery.  This promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.  All applicable federal, state or local laws apply.
