What a Crew!

We've had lots of different people working out at the fair and many more supporting us from the office. We've all been really busy, but we've had a lot of fun too. There are rides to be riden, baby animals to be seen and more food to try than you can shake a stick at. How many different foods can a Minnesota State Lottery crew try in one shift? Corn dogs, french fries, mini-donuts, Sweet Martha's cookies, tacos, turkey sandwiches, chocolate covered bacon, deep fried fruit and a Scotch Egg. What can we try tomorrow?

$1,000 a Day Giveaway Winner!

Matt Johnson of Zumbrota won $1,000 on Friday evening. Matt was working the gate on Friday, but found time to stop by the Lottery booth. Matt purchased a Vikings ticket-on-a-stick and hoped to win a chance to spin the giant wheel. While he didn't get that chance, he did enter his non-winning scratch ticket for his chance to win the $1,000 a Day Giveaway. Matt stopped back later that night to try his lucky again, and noticed his name on the $1,000 a Day winners list. Matt said: "It was nice to see that somebody actually wins - and that somebody was me!" You could win too! Just stop by and see us at the corner of Judson and Nelson to pick up your lottery tickets. If you win, we'll cash in your tickets -  if you don't win, you can enter for your chance at the $1,000 a Day Giveaway. Friday was Matts lucky day - tomorrow might be yours!


Record Breaking Days!

So far, it's been a pretty perfect fair. The weather's been beautiful with record breaking crowds every day. We've met people from all over the state and from as far away as San Diego, Phoenix, Atlanta, New York City and Calgary. Stop by and see us when you get to the fair and tell us what you love about being a Lucky Players Club member!

First Saturday of the Fair

It was another beautiful day and the fair was packed. Can you spot Rip $cratchmore in the crowd? He's there somewhere. Rip stopped by the Lottery booth for a while on Saturday - selling tickets, giving away prizes. He even shared some cheese curds with the staff. After we closed the booth down, we caught the end of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band show at the bandshell. We all sang along to our old favorites. We stayed for the fireworks and then grabbed some mini-donuts on the way out. It was another great day at the fair! Stop by the Lottery booth soon and join the fun - you might even get to buy your tickets from Rip.

Fun at the Fair!

The Lottery booth is located on the corner of Judson and Nelson, right behind the DNR outdoor stage. Last night we got to listen to some really great Ecuadoran music playing live on their stage. Check out everything that's going on at the DNR block - the fish pond, the fire tower, even Smokey the Bear. Then stop by and pick up a Vikings scratch ticket-on-a-stick. We had lots of big winners yesterday, but if you don't win, enter for your chance to win a $1,000! We're giving away $1,000 every day of the fair. The next winner could be you!


State Fail Win a Spin

Day 1 of the Great Minnesota Get Together -  

and what a great day it was! You couldn't have asked for more perfect weather - the sky was clear and the humidity was low. The parking lots were packed and the streets were full of the smells of some pretty fabulous foods. Players were lined up at our booth for the chance to get a free gift with their $10 Lottery purchase. We sold lots of Vikings scratch tickets-on-a-stick and over 100 players won the chance to spin the giant spin wheel to win some fun prizes. Stop by and see us when you get to the fair!

Come and see us at the fair!

Today was set-up day at the fair! We had lots of help - and lots of fun. We cleaned up the booth and brought in all of our prizes. We're loaded with tickets and ready for a great fair! This year you can pick up a Minneosta Vikings scratch ticket-on-a-stick at the Lottery booth. You might win the chance to spin the giant wheel to win sweatshirts, scratch tickets, mini binoculars or a whole lot of other great prizes. With any $10 Lottery purchase you'll get to choose a FREE gift. PLUS we'll be giving away $1,000 every day of the fair. Stop by and see us at the corner of Nelson and Judson - right down the road from the Pork Chop-on-a-Stick-stand and get in on all the fun. We'll be looking for you!

This season, the Minnesota State Lottery is teaming up with the Vikings for lots of great fun! We'll be at every home game selling our Vikings scratch ticket that features a second chance to earn points to redeem for authentic Vikings gear, plus the chance to win a VIP season ticket package for 4!
