A: To get started, fill out the Sign up form and click the SUBMIT button. After submitting the sign up information, you'll be sent a confirmation email with a link to activate your new account. After activating, members can then log in to LuckyMN and have access to all pages in the LuckyMN Players Club.

Take a look around, see what Lucky has to offer: free contests, second-chance contests, free games for fun and/or prizes, event announcements, and videos of Lottery promotions and events.

*The confirmation email may get caught in your email provider spam filters. If you do not get the email within a few minutes of filling out the sign-up form, check your junk mailbox, then remember to make Lucky@mnlottery.com a friend in your email system.

A: Log in to your account and click on Edit Profile.

A: Click on Forgot Password, enter your email address, and we’ll email you a link. By clicking on that link, you can reset your password.

A: Once logged in, click on “Edit Profile” near the Member Login. You can enter a new email on your Profile page. Then click “Save Profile” at the bottom of the page.

A: An Unsubscribe link is provided at the bottom of every email you receive from LuckyMN. The link takes you to a webpage where you will need to log in to cancel your membership.

A: In order to remember you, LuckyMN must set a cookie in your browser. To enable cookies, follow the instructions found here. Also, if you “sign off” the system will not remember you. Simply close the LuckyMN window when you are through. No need to “sign off” (unless you are using a public computer or if more than one person in your household has a LuckyMN member account).

A: For all coupons we use the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format. It's free to download and very useful as many other websites also provide documents in this format. Here's the link to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader.

A: In order to play some games in LuckyMN you may need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. Here's the link to download the latest version of Flash Player.

A: We will post your name and city on the winners page of the contest you entered.  Depending on the amount of your prize, we will either call you, email you, or send any prize under $500 to the address you provided in your Lucky Profile.  Please make sure your address and phone number are accurate so you don’t miss out on any prizes.

Prizes will be sent within 30 days of the drawing. 

A: As you’re probably aware, the issue of email spam is a growing concern. As companies design new ways to help prevent spam from getting to our email boxes, spammers find new ways to get around the blocking measures. If you have signed up to receive emails from LuckyMN, and you are not receiving them, it is possible that your spam blocker is not letting our messages through. Check with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to be sure you can get our emails, or contact a qualified computer professional. And remember to add lucky@mnlottery.com to your address book or make us a "friend" in your email program.

A: There are two types of email sent by LuckyMN. The first and most versatile is called HTML email. HTML email is written in the same code used to create webpages and has the ability to use color, images, more interesting layouts, and other features commonly associated with what one might find on a web page.

HTML messages are more interesting to look at but tend to be larger and therefore a little slower to load. Subscribers on dial-up Internet accounts may want to consider receiving our emails in text format.

Text based email can use only TEXT.  No colors or images can be included in TEXT email.

Most modern browsers with JavaScript enabled will get you around the club, but we recommend the following (or newer):

A: Go to the FEEDBACK page to let us know what problem you are experiencing. We will assist you via return email. The more details you can provide the better chance we will have of quickly working through the problem. Please try to let us know the specific page or contest you are trying to enter as well as the computer operating system (Windows, Mac, etc.), and web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) that you're using. If you can note the version number of the browser and OS that is also very helpful.

A: Drawing prizes are subject to federal and state withholding taxes, which means you are responsible for reporting and paying income taxes on your prize. Federal and state income taxes are withheld from all Lottery prizes worth more than $5,000. Win a prize valued at $600 or more and you will receive a Form W-2G (Statement for Recipients of Certain Gambling Winning) from the Lottery.

NOTE: Non-resident aliens are subject to additional federal taxes and reporting.

A: Sometimes if a user inadvertently double-clicks the SUBMIT button, the entry is recorded, and the system thinks the user is trying to enter it a second time.

A: Certain Minnesota State Lottery promotions require a total value of non-winning tickets (or more) to complete a single entry. For example: if $5 is required one (1) $2 ticket and one (1) $3 ticket adds up to a single entry worth $5. NOTE: Adding more than $5 worth of tickets for a single entry will still be a single entry. Another problem may be that the "Submit" button was pressed before the "Add Ticket" button was pressed. The "Add Ticket" button must be pressed first to add the single ticket to the "Submit Entry Table." Once you have added $5 or more worth of non-winning tickets to the "Submit Entry Table," the "Submit" button should be pressed to complete a single entry.

A: If you have unsuccessfully tried to add a ticket to the “Submit Entry Table” five (5) consecutive times, the system will lock you out for twenty-four (24) hours. You will have to wait 24 hours, then log in and try again. Double-check that you are only submitting qualifying non-winning tickets that have been purchased at the participating stores for the promotion.

A: The “VALIDATION NUMBER” is located under the scratchable latex area on the front of the ticket. Be sure to scratch off the complete area on the front of the ticket to locate this number. The number is not always in the exact same place on every ticket.

A: The “Submit Entry Table” is only active during your current logged in session. Those tickets do not become a single “Entry” until you have at least $5 or more worth of non-winning tickets added to the “Submit Entry Table” and the “Submit” button has been pressed. Once a successful entry has been completed, you will get a message that says, “Entry submitted successfully!” You can then safely log out and the system will retain that entry for the drawing. If you log out before getting a successful entry, you will have to re-enter those tickets. Once the entry is successfully submitted they will appear in the COMPLETE ENTRY HISTORY.

A: YES! You may enter any drawing as many times as you wish, however, each entry requires the use of separate qualified tickets. Please Note: A ticket cannot be entered in more than one contest.

A: When you submit your entry, a record of it shows up on the TICKET ENTRY page as ENTRIES FOR THIS SESSION.  To view prior entries you can click on the My Second Chance Entries tab at the top left of any contest page.

A: It is not necessary to keep your tickets after they have been entered.

A: A "VOUCHER NUMBER" is a 12 digit number starting with MN (sample: MN-012-123456789). This number is found on Lotto tickets ONLY (not scratch tickets).

A: No. Only the Lotto tickets for a particular contest or second chance drawing. See specific contest Rules for details.

A: No. A VOUCHER NUMBER can only be used once in a specific contest or second chance drawing. An entry will be considered invalid if the ticket was used as entry in any other Lottery contest or second chance drawing.

A: Yes. Unlike scratch tickets, a VOUCHER NUMBER from either a winning or non-winning Lotto ticket printed during the contest period is eligible to be entered.
